Well… Faith IS a cognitive detriment
When the Jesus cult and reality of zombie messiah’s who threaten to torture independent thinkers for eternity meet, the result is often a refreshing change from the marketing jingle’s on church billboards.
Best we stick with little bubbies in mangers and floatish type dudes in robes than think about what this lie demands of believers.
He’ll boil the organs of unbaptised innocents and eternally cast dissenters into a lava filled adventure playground filled with hideous demons, screaming, pleas, gnashing, wailing… yadda – all as an expression of love.
Christians cannot describe heaven in any sense beyond rationalising denial of reality such as being “happy”, “eternally safe” and with already dead loved ones. They fear the reality of the human condition, and thus cling to comforting lies. Lies which also cloak the beauty of life and stunt human potential.
Hell on the other hand is described in torturous detail, instilled in the impressionable minds of children and drives not only Christian bigotry, but Islamic extremism. Fear of JC’s adventure playground is the true engine room of Christian deception. As it is the genesis of Islams “Paradise”.
Faith is fear and fear is an emotional state, devoid of rational thought.
But it’s all good. He Loves YOU.
Riiiight. Okay – good luck with that.
Australian Atheist Bus
Reason hit the streets of Tasmania yesterday, following the “inexplicable” [ahem] rejection of a similar request in mainland states.
